Stonewall Regatta XV

After not much sleep after the She Wants Revenge show at the 9:30, I wake up at 6am to feed the dogs and pack my gear for the long day ahead.

8am-10am: Scratch Regatta at the Baltimore Rowing Club

11am: Annapolis to pick up half-marathon race packets for me and Laura

12pm: DC for the Stonewall Regatta hosted by DC Strokes.

I get there during the lunch break. As soon as the lunch break is over, there's a thunderstorm warning and the clouds open up.


Everyone retreats inside. Capital Rowing and the straights in the back.

The weather doesn't let up, so pretty soon the regatta is cancelled. Time to drink! says the Regatta Organizer.


For me - time to join the traffic, make dinner for me and Laura, and go to bed.
