Baltimore Blast vs Detroit Ignition

Saturday was the last regular season game of the Baltimore Blast. They ended up losing by one point, but they had already made the playoffs. A fast-paced game as expected, with Detroit being better than the Orlando game I attended previously. We had awesome seats. And while Menno lamented the fact that the cheerleaders faced the other way, I comforted myself with the fact that the Blast "dugout" faced the other way as well.

#24 Mike Lookingland: cuter in person than on his team picture.

And how can you miss #14 Michael Todd.

Awesome seats, and our location wasn't bad either.

Bend over!

There was a "celebrity" game during half-time. Pretty much "Newspaper" (Baltimore Sun, Baltimore Examiner) versus "Radio" (98Rock, WNST). The Red Team (Newspaper) here included Blaster, the Blast mascot. He actually played. It was funny to watch him run and try to figure out through his costume where the ball was to kick it. Yeah, and that yellow dude. He's the goalie for the Red Team. Good thinking - minimal running, fills up the goal.

Oh yeah, and here's one of the players noticing I was taking a picture of him trying to fix his pants. Dude!

Nice seats indeed. Next time I'm up, I want to go to a game! I can't believe that Lookingland is younger than me.
