And to Cindy #1 and Sean for coming out for drinks!

And thanks to my fabulous date for the evening, Curt!

The Birthday Girls!

I mean, Girl.

We started out in the lounge with drinks:
dolce limón - limoncello & stoli vanilla over ice (Cindy's favorite. Both Cindys)
jorgito - tropical mango-coconut martini
riviera - signature blood orange martini
euro - refreshing raspberry martini
And then I opened presents. First, from Jimmy and Dan: the cutest Salt & Pepper set from Alessi!

And you can't go wrong with a Sparkling Red from Cindy and Sean.

Cindy and Sean couldn't stay for dinner, so that left me with just the guys. Three guys, three girls.

We had a yummy dinner sampling the two set menus for 2:

Fire-roasted Almonds olive oil & sea salt
Mixed Olives - five varieties with herbs & pepporoncini
Empanadas - spiced veal & pork in pastry, salsa verde
Potato Croquettas - crispy mashed potatoes with Manchego
Wood-grilled Eggplant Dip - pomegranate & sesame
Beef Tartare - sweet peppers & Manchego cheese

Wines:
I have to update this part. Amazingly, I can't remember what all we drank!Cabreiroá sparkling water, bottled in Galicia

And then there was dancing!

The night came to an end and I was tired. Curt was not so tired and found another girl to dance with. We left him at the restaurant :)

Another great evening, with great friends and great food. Thanks also to our favorite hostess, Ingrid, and Carmen behind the bar.
